Design in a Post-Pandemic World (DPPW) is a discussion series that looks at how the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated changes already underway before the global crisis began; how those changes will likely affect our lives from now on; and how we can use the crisis to construct a more humane, equitable, and sustainable future.

Inspired by a University course taught by DPPW series hosts and others, this session took place on November 24, 2020 and explored entrepreneurial responses to current social and environmental problems. It featured series hosts Associate Dean for Research Abimbola Asojo, Minnesota Design Center Director Tom Fisher, and Associate Vice Provost Virajita Singh who were joined by two featured Megan Voorhees from the UMN Institute on the Environment and Andrea Davila, consultant specializing in social venture funds and enterprises.
